FAQ’S

A. The program is designed to help the students to be prepared for their new school year in major academic subjects. Being prepared for the new school year will help students save some time, showing better confident and faster progress between learning and planning.

A. No, students can order the lunch from the camp with additional costs. Students must pack up their own lunch from home if they don’t order from school.

A. Lunchbox style lunch will be served to students and the students require to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing while they are eating the lunches.

A. No, the program is offering 6 week registration only. No credit is given for any absence days/weeks.

A. The number of students per group will be determined by the size of their classroom. Ideally 22~23 per class.

A. It will be a recorded video orientation which would include all the details you will need for the summer camp.

A.Our camp is designed for children who will be entering Kindergarten through sixth grade.

A.Regular camp hours are from 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
AM Care begins at 7:30 AM.
PM Care ends at 5:45 PM.

A.Academic Enrichment: Focused on core subjects to keep young minds sharp over the summer.
Physical Activities: Daily exercise and sports to promote fitness and teamwork.
Individual and Team Projects: Engaging activities that foster creativity and collaboration.

A.We maintain a ratio of 1 staff member for every 12 students to ensure personalized attention and safety.

A.Certified Teachers: Experienced educators who bring professional expertise to our camp.
Excellent Standing College Students: Enthusiastic individuals who are pursuing degrees in education or related fields.
Junior/Senior High School Students: Responsible and trained older students who assist with various camp activities.

A.Lunch ordering is available through STL. Students who do not order from STL will need to bring packed lunches from home.

A.The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
80% of the camp fee will be refunded if canceled by May 1st.
50% of the camp fee will be refunded if canceled by June 1st.
No refunds will be issued after June 2nd.

A.No, there are no additional fees for activities or supplies.

A.No cell phones or electronic devices are allowed during camp hours to encourage engagement and participation in activities.

A.Parents must make an appointment to visit or contact their children during camp hours.

A.A detailed list of items to bring will be provided during the parent orientation by STL.

A.The STL staff follows a structured approach to handle behavior issues:
Step 1: Verbal warning.
Step 2: Time-out or time away from the group.
Step 3: Behavior warning report sent home for parent’s signature.
Step 4: Phone conference with parents.
Step 5: Meeting with the director, necessary staff, parent(s), and child. At this time, suspension or expulsion will be discussed if necessary.

A.Campers will be grouped by their future grade level based on the order in which STL received their registration. The Camp Director will finalize groupings based on the program’s needs and the kids’requirements.
